This is a rub for when you are smoking a chicken or any other fowl. Quick and simple, you can easily adjust for your personal tastes. Good for 1 whole chicken or up to 10 thighs.
Ingredients
- 0.25 cup Brown sugar
- 0.25 cup Hungarian Paprika
- 3 TBL Kosher salt – unless chicken was brine’d
- 1 TBL Black Pepper – ground
- 1 TBL Chili powder – red
- 1 TBL Garlic powder
- 1 TBL Onion powder
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper powder
Process
- Mix all the ingredients together.
- Brush fowl with olive oil then sprinkle on the rub
