Salmon Patties

Salmon is best when grilled as fillets, but sometimes you hunger for something different, and this is a good recipe for your something different dinner. Also, canned salmon is cheap compared to wild caught salmon fillets so have guilt-free fun.

Ingredients

  • 14 oz can Salmon – drained
  • 3 TBL Olive oil
  • 2 Eggs – beaten
  • 1 Onion – diced fine
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Old spice (optional)

Process

  1. Mise en Place: Measure and prepare ingredients prior to starting.
  2. Mix eggs, onion, salmon, and pepper.
  3. Shape into 7-8, 2 oz patties
  4. Put in frig to until firm (cover with film).
  5. Fry in pan on Med. for 5 mins. on each side until golden brown.
