Probability Theory
You’re free to naively think
if you believe in something
strong enough
for long enough
it’ll come true,
just don’t wager on
that probable outcome
cause you’ll likely lose.
From chapter 1 of the R.M. Dolin novel, “An Unsustainable life – The Book of Issac.” Issac explains the mathematics behind why Lenny always loses his bets.
