An Unsustainable Life – The Book of Issac

Issac’s a Chicago ne’er-do-well who loses his trust fund, the woman he loves, and his last living relative. He reluctantly goes to New Mexico to manage Uncle Darwin’s affairs and encounters Camille, a determined French idealist whose part of a clandestine cohort of Silicon Valley entrepreneurs engaged in efforts to save humanity from technology’s existential threats; particularly the growing influence of Information Oligarchs, the coming AI revolution, and society’s willingness to trade freedom for convenience. As Issac enters this covert world, Camille awakens him to what it means to lead a purpose-driven life.
