Cowboys are never going to upstage a French Michelin three-star restaurant but that doesn’t mean they don’t make tasty cuisine. Here is a three-bean recipe that pretty much lays out the ingredient list in its name, read on to learn more.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Hamburger
- 0.5 lb Bacon – chopped
- 28 oz can Pork & Beans
- 15 oz can Kidney beans – rinsed and drained
- 15 oz can Lima beans – rinsed and drained
- 8 oz Ketchup
- 8 oz Brown sugar
- 2 Onions – diced
- 1 tsp Prepared mustard
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Process
- Mise en Place: Measure and prepare your ingredients prior to starting.
- Heat skillet and cook hamburger and bacon.
- Stir cook meat and remaining ingredients into a slow cooker on Low.
- Cook until thickened, at least three hours.
