Of course, you can buy industrial pancake mix, but why? Do you really need all the chemicals and low quality taste when in a few minutes you can be making homemade pancakes with fresh chemical free ingredients.
Ingredients
- 671 g Buttermilk (3 cups)
- 415 g Flour (3 cups)
- 45 g Sugar (3 TBL)
- 13 g Baking Powder (3 tsp)
- 7.5 g Baking Soda (1.5 tsp)
- 5.2 g Kosher salt (0.75 tsp)
- 3 Eggs
- 1/3rd cup Butter – melted
Process
- Mise en Place: Measure and prepare your ingredients prior to starting.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In separate bowl, mix buttermilk, eggs, and butter.
- When ready to cook, mix two bowls together, careful not to overstir.
- Pour ~1/2 cup of batter per pancake.
