Buttermilk Pancakes

Of course, you can buy industrial pancake mix, but why? Do you really need all the chemicals and low quality taste when in a few minutes you can be making homemade pancakes with fresh chemical free ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 671 g Buttermilk (3 cups)
  • 415 g Flour (3 cups)
  • 45 g Sugar (3 TBL)
  • 13 g Baking Powder (3 tsp)
  • 7.5 g Baking Soda (1.5 tsp)
  • 5.2 g Kosher salt (0.75 tsp)
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/3rd cup Butter – melted

Process

  1. Mise en Place: Measure and prepare your ingredients prior to starting.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In separate bowl, mix buttermilk, eggs, and butter.
  4. When ready to cook, mix two bowls together, careful not to overstir.
  5. Pour ~1/2 cup of batter per pancake.
