This is a step in the gourmet side of chicken cuisine, but you deserve it.
Ingredients
- 8 Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs – ~2 lbs
- 14 oz of Frozen Pearl Onions – thawed
- 1 – 10.75 can of Cream of Chicken soup
- 2 oz Dry White Wine
- 2 tsp Parsley Leaves – chopped
- 1 tsp dried Tarragon – 1 TBL fresh
- 0.25 tsp dried Rosemary powder
- Serve with rice or pasta
Process
- Mise en Place: Measure and prepare your ingredients prior to starting.
- Place chicken in slow cooker on High.
- Combine wine, soup, and seasonings and pour over chicken.
- Cook 8 hrs until tender.
- Remove chicken and skim fat from juice
- Serve meat over rice or pasta with juice on top.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
Note 1: If juice is not as thick as you would like, make a roux and use the juice as the liquid.
Note 2: if serving over pasta, add grated Parmesan as a garnish.
