Poems from the R.M. Dolin novel, “The Dangling Conversation”
Window to My Darkness
His random brush strokes
of black and gray
hold my soul
as it freely falls
into sudden
bits and pieces
of torment
floating on fog
with no hope of escape.
A dystopian black hole
collapsing his world
into darkness.
From chapter 19 of the R.M. Dolin novel, “The Dangling Conversation.” Isabelle describes how a painting she once saw with her dad is a dystopian metaphor for life.
