Poems from the R.M. Dolin novel, “The Dangling Conversation”
Continued Acquiescence
Her continual acquiescence
makes it impossible for them
to find peace,
which frustrates them both.

like most couples
it becomes their deal.
Through wisdom that
comes with watching
I see both sides
of their dance
and the pitfalls to avoid.
From chapter 20 of the R.M. Dolin novel, “The Dangling Conversation.” Isabelle describes the relationship between her mom and dad that she observes while growing up.
