This is a Brazilian style cream limeade that seems to have been lost in translation since the translation is “Swiss Lemonade,” but there are no lemons in the recipe. It is a cool and refreshing drink that only takes a few minutes to make. I have made this as a drink for kids at dinner parties but also blended in some rum to make it an aperitif cocktail for adults. It can also be used as a sorbet or to accompany a cheese desert.
Ingredients
- 6 Limes – peeled
- 4 oz Condensed milk
- 1.5 cups Sugar – or less if you want a more tart drink
- 48 oz Water – 6 cups
- 2 cups Ice
Process
- Add everything into a blender and mix.
- If you don’t plan on serving it all at once, hold back some of the ice so you can add ice every time you serve it.
- Will last a few days in the fridge but best to be consumed at once.
