Classic Deviled Eggs

If your planning happy hour with the misses, and if her favorite cocktail is a dry martini, then these could be the go to recipes for you. They have just the right mix of tangy spice and creamy texture that marry well the olives in her dirty martini.

Ingredients

  • Recipe 1
    • 6 Eggs – hard boiled, peeled and cooled
    • 2 oz Mayonnaise
    • 0.5 tsp ground mustard powder
    • 0.5 tsp dried Parsley flakes
    • 0.25 tsp Seasoned salt
    • Paprika for garnish
  • Recipe 2
    • 6 Eggs – hard boiled, peeled and cooled
    • 2 oz Mayonnaise
    • 1 tsp White vinegar
    • 1 tsp ground mustard powder
    • 1/8 tsp Sea salt
    • 1/8 tsp Black pepper
    • Smoked Spanish Paprika for garnish

Process

  1. Mise en Place: Measure and prepare your ingredients prior to starting.
  2. Prepare eggs:
    1. cut eggs in half and remove yolks.
    2. Mash yolks in a bowl.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients (except paprika), with the yolks, mayo and stir until smooth.
  4. Put mixture in cake funnel (pipe), or cookie press with the decorative tip of your choice.
  5. Fill each egg white half with mixture and garnish with paprika
  6. Cover and refrigerate.
