It’s an interesting thing,
the way behaviors change
when group-think forms.
Those once capable of
great thought
and objective analysis,
forgo even trying
to think for themselves
as they listen only to
the call of their wild
and yield to
their inner instinct,
which devolves in pack mentality.
From the R.M. Dolin novel, “Trophic Cascade.” A pack of wild dogs attack Jake and Sympatico and in the ensuing carnage, things don’t end well for the dogs…or for Quando.
