This is an bourbon based spin on the classic Italian Negroni cocktail and is still smooth even though it has almost twice as much alcohol as he Negroni.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Bourbon – the better the bourbon the better the Boulevardier
- 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 1 oz Campari
Process
- Mise en Place: measure and prepare your ingredients prior to starting.
- Fill stirring glass with ice.
- Add the ingredients to glass.
- Stir gently for at least 30 seconds or until cocktail is fully chilled down.
- Strain into chilled low ball glass
- Can serve on the rocks, but the cocktail dilutes as ice melts.
