Companion poem for chapter 5 of the R.M. Dolin novel, "Trophic Cascade"
Read chapter
What becomes of a dreamer
after dreams come true,
what's left for lovers
when time and distance
separate you.
Can anything conquer
a heart in repair,
or are we left to
wander between
the content and despair.
While history's left for
the disengaged to decide,
wind whispers with
calming clarity
when you pass by.
From the R.M. Dolin novel, “Trophic Cascade.” Jake and Padre get into philosophical discussion about how historians portray history as we’re told who is good and who is bad.
