I’ll Wait for You
If you just need time
to sort through feelings,
I’ll wait for you.
If you need space to
find a better place,
I’ll wait for you.
No matter the road or
difficulties that lies ahead,
I’ll always be waiting for you.
Background poem for the novel, “The Dangling Conversation.” Isabelle reassures Henry she can wait until he works things out.
