Oligarchs and megalomaniacs, the world at war on the whims of a few. Leaders shrouded in virtue as they shield themselves in others, deaf to the cries of the innocent. Planets spin on a predictable axis, as do politicians and movements, and even clergy; they always have, they always will……. The thing about bombs, is they don't care who they target. You launch at me in the name of injustice, so, I launch back to prove your point, both of us convinced that in the infinity of wrongs, a right will miraculously emerge. You and I'll be okay, that’s the nature of the game we play even as collateral damage continues to be counted in the cries of the innocent. As it’s always been, and always shall be....
Note: Written while attempting to understand the current Palestinian-Israeli conflict with a widening worry that somehow its connected to the Ukrainian-Russia conflict, and that both are precursors to a Taiwanese-China conflict.
