Chapter 1: Americans for a New America (ANA)

After months of intense discussion, debate, and deliberation, the cohort of retired Los Alamos scientist calling themselves the Americans for New America (ANA) agree it is time to publish their manifesto to awaken the masses to their need for change. The manifesto first recounts the true history of America’s founding and contrasts that with the propagandized narratives that have been carefully constructed over time. Next the ANA lay out their ‘Principia of Politics,’ based on three fundamental laws,

  1. The Persuasion Paradox
  2. The Principle of Non-Contradiction
  3. Reductio ad Absurdum

The manifesto openly identifies those who stand in opposition, namely the Information Oligarchs and the puppet politicians they control. The manifesto ends with a call to action, announcing the need to awaken the masses to both see what is happening to their country and their liberty and to mobilize toward change. The ANA plan a mass dissemination of their manifesto by anomalously sending copies to every political office in Washington, to every major newspaper, and to hack into major media outlets to post their manifesto on line. This is the ANA manifesto:

The Principia of Politics

A Manifesto from

The Americans for a New America

With the dawn of the information age and the coming of the artificial intelligence singularity, it is past time for Americans to take stock of their lives in terms of how they live relative to the dream put forth by our founding fathers. It is time to ask yourself and your fellow Americans, are we on track and if not, why and what can be done about it. It is easy to reach the conclusion that the America of today has fallen far short of the dream put forth through revolution but the true unbiased assessment of how things so devolved is must harder to consider, as is the matter of what if anything can be done to reverse the decline.

America is founded on principles of personal liberty and inalienable rights, one of which is the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Multiple instances exist when courageous Americans were compelled to re-rudder the ship of representative democracy. These pivotal moments were usually initiated by a small minority whose selfless passion awakened the masses. Even the most casual observer would today conclude; based on what’s happening on our streets, in our parks, and within the once hallowed halls of government, we have drifted far afield from our nation’s founding principles.

While May 5th is a fabricated holiday celebrating the mass consumption of alcohol, its initial premise is grounded in the grass roots pursuit of independence and liberty that Americans hold dear. It is therefore appropriate to mark this day by assessing how we as a nation have devolved to our current rudderless state and what can be done to restore our country to its previous prominence and glory.

No one knows for certain how a day of little notice for Mexicans became a National Day of Celebration in America. It’s not possible to trace the history of Cinco de Mayo to the genesis of the moment Madison Avenue decides May will be the month and the fifth the day for a celebration. However, numerologists agree, 5/5 has significance even if the code has yet to be deciphered. While obvious causal factors point to the mad men of marketing exploiting Cinco de Mayo to sell alcohol, nobody knows for sure. After all, does not keeping the governed drunk one additional day each year further foster their carefully orchestrated domestication? As wild of an accusation as that may seem, it’s really not far-fetched when you consider the singular truth echoing through history: governments manipulate and lie to the governed.

We are the Americans for a New America (ANA). This manifesto is our notice that it’s time for change. Let this be our warning to the Oligarchy that change is coming. In our parks, on our streets, with our hands raised, with a growing sense our lives matter, we feel the angst of the nation’s expanding unrest. With every carefully constrained breath the masses grow more anxious. With every protest, every rally, every government over-reach and overreaction we reaffirm the necessity of what needs to happen. We assert patriotism as our manifest destiny and history as our guide.

There was a moment when George Washington, the wealthiest man in the colonies who earned his income as a Distiller, decided he’d had enough. There was a circumstance in which it became clear to John Hancock, the second wealthiest man in the colonies who made his money smuggling rum, that something bold had to be done. The exact day cannot be precisely pinpointed when Samuel Adams and the Boston Chapter of the Sons of Liberty – a group of old men who gathered once a week at a Pub to complain about British rule – were compelled to revolution. Nor can the night Paul Revere, the most sought after Still manufacturer in New England, chose to become more than a coppersmith. None of these moments can be isolated and preserved for prosperity because the revolutionary facts surrounding America’s insurrection have been revised, censored, and propagandized by manipulated academics entrusted with preserving truth.

If the true history of America’s founding were told, people would learn that the catalyst for revolution had nothing to do with tea. Rather, the revolution took heart the night John Hancock’s ship, the Liberty, was confiscated by British authorities in Boston Harbor for carrying George Washington’s liquor without the required tax stamps. On that fate-filled night, the Sons of Liberty were not necessarily bent on inciting insurrection, all they wanted was enough rum to complete their evening. However, without Washington’s moonshine liquor on Hancock’s bootleg ship, Adams’ group of deeply resourceful intellectuals were short their required rations and simply put, pissed off about it. And so, as the true history unfolded, the Sons of Liberty concluded status quo could no longer be sustained. In a hastily conceived act of defiance, they snuck down to the harbor and grabbed a few cases of Washington’s liquor from Hancock’s ship so they could finish their meeting. As an unplanned act of rebellion, and to let King George know how they really felt about British rule, they dumped what they didn’t need into the harbor. That way as they rationalized in their rage, British soldiers could understand what it feels like to be denied essential spirits.

Few know the true derivations of the American Revolution because in the early-1800’s, history was re-written. The American Temperance Society’s power was beginning to exert a political influence that would culminate with the enactment of Prohibition a century later. Overnight George Washington became a surveyor not a Distiller. John Hancock was recast as a Statesman rather than smuggler. Samuel Adams was transformed into a Beer Brewer even though making beer in those days was women’s work. Paul Revere was reclassified; no longer would he be recognized for crafting the finest Stills in Colonial America, rather, he would be remembered for making tea pots – a simple and significantly more palatable profession.

In the time it takes to fabricate a lie, the catalyst for change transformed from a dispute over confiscated liquor into some sort of illogical nonsense about tea. Consider the believability of a country of coffee drinkers going to war over tea. Deliberately misplaced the moment history was rewritten though is the fact that the dominate industry in the Colonies at the time of the American Revolution was not tobacco, cotton farming, or textile manufacturing as naive school children are taught; it was the start to finish process or producing liquor. Only the trained eye can detect any remaining remnants of this once thriving colonial enterprise. A foundational industry that took raw sugar cane from the Caribbean and shipped it to the Carolinas for processing into molasses. From there the molasses was shipped to New England where it was fermented into mash and distilled into Rum. Only the most resourceful historian can find links between the Sons of Liberty and that fate filled night Hancock’s confiscated ship in Boston Harbor was boarded by men in disguise who needed liquor to finish the weekly meeting at their favorite tavern.

Only the most accomplished investigator could ever prove the American Temperance Society decided in an ironic twist of fate it was more palatable to teach gullible children our founding fathers were angry tea enthusiast rather than part of a vast and profitable liquor industry. Their religion was convincing the government to indoctrinate children with social studies rather than history and from there, all expectations regarding truth were lost. The irony, like in any good lie, was further convoluted by assuming we as a nation would take more pride in being tobacco growers rather than rum producers. As history has shown over and over again, just because something isn’t truthfully presented in government approved books or included in government sanctioned propaganda does not mean it is not true.

So along with the fact that these facts are above dispute, the lessons to be learned are twofold. First, while college students in the 1960’s brought government to its knees with radical demands for change, the real threat to the current Oligarchy lies not on the hundreds of college campuses as beguiled puppets in Washington assume. The real threat lies in the tens of thousands of bars, coffee shops and cafes where old men form loose associations to complain about government – men of vast experience and willing resources waiting patiently for a catalyst, some unanticipated event compelling complacent people to action. The second take away is that while history can easily be rewritten to suit any government narrative, the lessons history teaches relentlessly resurface until the truth is set free.

These unfiltered facts about American history are why today’s Oligarchs greatest fear stems from their recognition that within every American lies the DNA to initiate the chain reaction becoming the catalyst for creating the courage in others to affect change. That coupled with an uneasy realization that millions of idle men in thousands of bars, coffee shops, and cafes can create an unstoppable force for change once sufficiently motivated. This is the real reason why the Oligarchy created the NSA Watchers. Oligarchies fear change. Change creates chaos and chaos can’t be controlled, contained or exploited for gain. What terrorizes the Oligarchy is the inevitability of change. That the desire for change among the governed grows stronger each day people are forced to confront just how utterly bad things have become. Soon simple lies and welfare gifts to the masses will cease to placate apathy even in the most seriously beguiled citizenry the Oligarchy has worked so hard to foster and constrain. This creates fear within the Oligarchy; a fear that hasn’t been touched in two hundred and fifty years.

This is our manifesto: we the governed, no longer accept the premise that the Oligarchy and their puppet politicians represent American ideals. Our patriotic call to action is that we must become catalysts for change. We are the Americans for a New America (ANA). Our justification, our rail against the Oligarchy, is founded in our Principia of Politics, which in turn is predicated on supplanting the three fundamental laws of politics that have for far too long allowed the Oligarchy to rule unabated.

1st Fundamental Law of Politics: The Persuasion Paradox

The Persuasion Paradox, also referred to as the Fallacy of Conscience, is founded on the fact that the governed can be persuaded to believe anything if you appeal to their sense of conscience. Examples rain through history. In medieval times, religion was the vehicle used to manipulate the conscience of the masses. A current example is the mass marketing of smart-cars running on electricity rather than direct combustion. The Oligarchy has deceptively convinced people that driving smart cars is a patriotic imperative to wean our dependence on foreign oil and to save the planet from global extinction. However, their sensationalized argument is technically, scientifically, and logically inconsistent, which is why they resort to manipulation.

Consider a direct combustion car traveling forty miles on a gallon of gasoline (40mpg). For simplicity, let’s call these 40 units of energy. Newton’s fundamental law of thermodynamics states that equal amounts of energy are required to propel an object a given distance regardless of the method of propulsion. Propelling a smart car begins with electrical generation. The process of generating electricity from combustible energy is 30% efficient. In other words, three units of combustible energy are consumed in a power plant for each unit of electrical energy generated. Transmission losses are 15%. This means one-hundred units of electrical energy leaving a power plant dwindles to eighty-five energy units at their destination. Once a smart-car battery is charged, conversion of battery energy into propulsion is 80% efficient. So, for every five units of energy stored in a battery only four transfers into propulsion. For a smart car to travel 40 miles, 40 units of propulsion are needed. This requires 50 units of battery energy. For that, 59 units of power plant energy must be produced. For that, 197 units of combustible energy are consumed. It therefore takes five times more fuel to travel by smart car versus direct combustion, which makes direct combustion vehicles economically and environmentally “smarter” than smart-cars.

By overt persuasion akin to a magician’s sleight of hand, the Oligarchy manipulates the masses to act contrary to their financial and environmental interests by seducing their heart and confusing their head. This same persuasion paradox applies to the Oligarchy’s manipulation of the governed across the political, economic, and social spectrum. If you want to know why, simply ask yourself whose wealth and power is enhanced by Americans consuming more energy?

2nd Fundamental Law of Politics: The Principle of Non-Contradiction

The principle of non-contradiction asserts that something cannot simultaneously be true and false. With callous calculus the Oligarchy thrives on its ability to deceptively convince the masses that every issue is simultaneously true and false. This allows the Oligarchy to divide and distract the masses. The Oligarchy’s deception is rooted in establishing a contra-logical basis from which any position is passionately argued with moral authority. This then creates confusion among the governed that the Oligarchy exploits.

Consider the issue of immigration. Liberals on the surface support and encourage illegal immigration while conservatives in general, stand in opposition. Conservatives are branded as advocates of big business while liberals market themselves as the champion of Unions and the working class. When immigrates illegally migrate to America, they displace American workers, which is detrimental to both Unions and the working class. Immigrants are willing to worker harder for less money, which business interests desire. This apparent logical inconsistency forms the basis for the Oligarchy’s contra-logical confusion.

Confounding this is the fact that in order for the American economy to remain vibrant, the workforce needs to grow at a rate of 2.5 (replacement + 0.5). Since Americans reproduce at a rate of 1.8, we are not growing the workforce at a rate sufficient to ensure economic stability. Recognizing this, the Oligarchy first manipulated American culture in a way that compelled women to betray their maternal instincts and enter the workforce. This abated the problem for two generations. Now, immigration is the only way to maintain our economic vitality, which means the nation needs immigration even while the Oligarchy ensures elements of society vehemently protest the contra-logical.

Consider this, from 2008 to 2010, liberals controlled both the legislative and executive branches of government. They could have passed any immigration law they wanted but didn’t, even though it was a passionately promoted political promise. In their contra-logical confusion when voters went to the polls liberals voted for politicians who purportedly were in favor of immigration while conservatives voted for politicians who purported to be against immigration. Ironically, by successfully manipulating the governed using the contra-logical basis of the principle of non-contradiction the Oligarchy got both liberals and conservatives to simultaneously vote contrary to their perceived principles. That’s how fined tuned the Oligarchy’s manipulation of the masses has become.

3rd Fundamental Law of Politics: Reductio ad Absurdum

The mathematical and philosophical principle of reductio ad absurdum is used to prove a statement or belief false by showing that a false, untenable, or absurd result follows from its acceptance. Reductio ad absurdum is the grand hoax the Oligarchy plays on the governed. Let’s assert for the sake of argument that Americans have a two-party form of government. For this to be true both the first and second fundamental laws of politics have to be invalid because neither of these fundamental laws could survive in an environment possessing a principled loyal opposition and a precondition of reductio ad absurdum is that existing laws cannot be violated. This then renders our assertion that Americans have a two-party form of government false, untenable, and absurd. America is ruled by a single Oligarchy; the thing our founding fathers most feared might happen.

To validate that we live in a one-party Oligarchy, there is the previous example of how liberals failed to enact immigration reform when they had absolute power. More recently, when conservatives had complete power, they too failed to act on their signature campaign pledge, removing and replacing the liberal health care system. The Oligarchy is neither liberal or conservative, that drama is just a show to pacify the masses. The Oligarchy is not interested in you or the nation, only the consolidation of power within the Oligarchy and the political class they control. To believe otherwise in the face of the Principia of Politics is to be blindly naive, badly beguiled, and baselessly manipulated.

Principia of Politics

The First, Second and Third Fundamental Laws of Politics prove the over-arching Principia of Politics. Namely, there is only the Oligarchy ruling with single-purpose over the governed. For Americans to retake our constitutionally fought for form of government we must wrestle power away from the Oligarchy. For that to happen, the governed must find within themselves the courage of George Washington, John Hancock, and other Sons of Liberty. Like our ancestral patriots, Americans must be willing to rail against the Oligarchy and dare to dance along that fine line separating patriot from traitor.

The Oligarchy has become so adroit in their manipulations that like a frog in a warming pot, the masses may never awaken to the reality of their world. This is why the Americans for a New America (ANA) was formed. This is why we take as our manifest destiny the responsibility to usher in a renaissance of American politics, a return to the principles of our revolutionary founders. While some might assume we advocate open revolution, the days of physical confrontation have passed. In the information age, particularly with the coming Artificial Intelligence (AI) Singularity, meaningful governmental redress needs to be more stealth. This is why the success of the ANA will not be measured by battles won, land seized, or wealth amassed, but by the quiet supplanting of Information Oligarchs with those more enlightened, more patriotic, and more willing to help humanity; and doing so with altruistic stealth. Join us. Join the movement. Welcome your brothers and sisters to the shared awakening of a patriotically principled tomorrow.
