Streetlamps spotlight their story best unspoken.
He hides under the streetlamp crying.
His regrets can’t hide outside her door.
She never learned to love him.
There’s a certain beauty in sadness.
No, I can’t explain this away.
You’re the reason I’d rather not.
You mistakenly think it’s about you.
The logic of lovers defies lawyers.
I dutifully listen with diminishing interest.
Isolated. Alone. The edge of truth.
On the lonely ledge of truth.
He died having never been loved.
Louise, my pot plant, just flowered.
Lightening spits spiderwebs of spontaneous danger.
Tell me something I don’t know.
Please come to Bastia. . .mon amour
I do know why dear one.
It’s not your paint or canvas.
His love for her finally died.
Lost. Snow Falling. Truck on empty.
Pinon embers of my twilight soul.
Your fears I vow to vanquish.
The syncopated rhythm of desperate desperation.
